As a practioner of Wing Chun, the main story I hear about the history of Wing Chun is that it was invented by a nun called Ng Mui, and then passed down to Yim Wing Chun and then finally to Yip Man (see this traditional story). However, through my current instructor Rick Spain, I heard the following version about Wing Chun’s origins, one that I found much more believable and credible. Check it out and let me know what you think?

Yip Man 2 Coming Soon!!!! April 29th 2010… I can’t wait

After watching the first movie, I was in awe of this stunning piece of cinema. The action scenes were fast and furious, and Donnie Yen showing great applied Wing Chun technique. Sammo Hung did an awesome job in creating the fight sequences.

Being a Wing Chun practitioner myself, I was really excited by this film. Unfortunately I do not have a wooden dummy, so I had to travel to my school, which is 1 hour away for my home, just to relieve some wooden dummy itch after watching the movie.

When I heard the sequel is being made, I just can't wait for you to come out. Fortunately, it is coming out in April. For those people can't wait, check out these awesome movie previews while you are counting down the hours.
